I sometimes wonder, is there even actually a game played at the Superbowl? (A football game, that is.) The pre-game coverage, the commercials, the mid-game festivities. the pre and post parties, the post-game coverage, in all of that is there any room for the game to be played? If the teams didn’t appear on the field would most people notice? If they just rushed onto the field, huddled, then split and rushed off the field—all done in dramatic fashion, with the screams of the crowd and rousing music over the speakers, the cheerleaders shaking their pom-poms (along with those heaps of thin rags in their hands) is there any real need for the game?
Energy Secretary Steve Chu resigned, and gave parting shots. Maybe now we can cut down ever tree in the country and use them for cooking fuel like they do in Haiti.
I do hope you’re not serious. Every state with a National Forest (including Florida) would be up in arms against you. They know that Tourist $ comes from those Forests as the Tourists stay in hotels/motels that are built near the Forests. . The worst would be the Hillbillies of Tennessee. They’d be after you with all their guns loaded. Even those folk know that the most $ comes from all the Tourists who drive through the Mountains during the Summer months.
Oh….. sorry about that. It’s hard to tell sarcasm when one only uses words. . Were you referring to the Tea Party, most Republicans, or both? (I’m leaving my mother out of the argument —for the moment. Since the Election, she hasn’t said one thing about Politics, which is an automatic argument starter.)
