Secret Service doesn’t use any revolvers. NObody believes regulations or laws will pass to take away everyone’s guns carte blanche, but keeping them from nuts and “bad guys” can be done, but it will take time. A start is making ANY gun purchase at a minimum require the background checks, and training, I had to have for a concealed weapons permit. For large magazines, banning is the best idea, but at least requiring the intense background check, licensing, and taxes my nephew went through for a a LEGAL automatic “machine gun” for purchase…LIke his Uzi and MAC 11, these magazines have NO LEGITIMATEUSE in civilian hands, except perhaps playing “manliness games” on a closed rangee.

Ahh, yes, I’ve been waiting for this. It is so nice that Mr. McCoy gives a voice to those who – for racial motives – would like to kill the President. By advocating to disarm the Secret Service he would like to be this so much easier. I hope the SS checks comics as well as other threats to the life of the President. We might see Mr. McCoy’s comics with a bit of a delay, having to be shipped from Gitmo to his publishers…

He point is that it is ok for some to be surrounded by armed guards but NO guns for self defense. McCoy doesn’t even come close to advocating disarming the secret service. How you get a racial overtone from this escapes me. Add to that it is well established that most people of means in our society: politicians, sports figures, Hollywood celebrities, big name CEO’s etc, etc, are protected by armed security. Add to that there is no reference to disarming the Secret Service. Take a nap Morty, I think the time difference is affecting the reasoning part of your brain.
Where do you see that we want to see the SS disarmed? We’re just seeing the hypocrissy of if Obama can have armed guards, why can’t WE protect ourselves as well?
Which would not have done a thing in the last shooting as the Shczmozl stole them from a family member who had every right to have them. Why do you have have this magicical thinking? Its all about an object like restricting or banning it will make you safe. The first assault weapon was the Colt revolver, hang six or eigth from you belt and saddle and you can do a lot of shooting. The problem is PEOPLE. And there is not a darn thing you can do about it. And if they have no legitimate use then why do we let police and the military have them? Spray and pray from them has killed and maimed far more people then civilian firearm use has. Why should there be two sandards.
So as not to dissapoint you, in re your second bullet point, consider England an island nation with a complete firearms ban for anyone but the police, who NOW carry guns. Violence has more then doubled since the ban and fiearm use in crime and murder has gone off the chart. You now are at more risk of violence and rape if you are a women in the UK then the USA.
I for one don’t want the President any of them really-CANYOURSIDESAYTHAT?(hint don’t bite I have terabytes of quotes about killing the prior job holder) I just want him to go away and leave the rest of us alone.
Do any of you have a clue what McCoy looks like? Where you might find him? What about JFK, RFK, MLK , Ford, Reagan… They lived large open lives and were targets of one sort of hate or another. And McCoy acts as if Obama, like any other U.S. President, is just an average citizen walking down the street? McCoy is just an effing jerk.
