Enjoy the ride, its what the Teapublicans wanted for America.
Of course they will scream bloody murder when their over priced military gets cut by even a dollar.

2025 is the year to look for. That’s the year entitlement spending and servicing the debt will consume the entirety of our budget. Radish, you may want to check your facts, but 20% of the budget (military spending) is less than 44% of the budget (medicare and SS). And that 44% is growing very quickly. But that’s right. Blame the conservatives for saying that there is a problem with entitlements.

^ Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t “entitlements” things that people are entitled to?

And if they are entitled to it, why would you deprive them of that to which they are entitled?

“entitlements” exist that should never, ever been voted into law. Just because majority Democrat congresses and presidents invented the many “entitlements” does not give moral justification for Treasury giveaways….thereby emptying the public revenue/borrowing “funds” authorized by politicians buying Votes!

radish, the US Military belongs to ALL AMERICANS and has the US Constitution’s first priority in public spending and is intended for Defense against all foreign enemies. I am in total agreement with the Tea Party movement to try to stop the Liberal/Democrat ruination of America. That ruination is in clear sight, as Wraithkin pointed out.

You don’t understand that “entitlements” are earned over a lifetime of working and paying into Social Security and Medicare.
Just as you expect your company to pay you for working all week, Your paycheck is an entitlement.
It is not ‘free’ money, you and those who work contributed into it.

I just applied for the Social Security I am entitled to because I paid into it for at least ten years of my working life.
    .
We have the most expensive military in the world and the Teapubs will do anything not to cut a dollar of it encluding depriving me of my ‘entitlement’.
    .
In the meantime we still are paying famers who live in NYC, oil companies and other corporate welfare. Give your local billionaire a tax break, which is basically picking your pocket, so he can create jobs in China.

Since Obama won, Obama should own it. Let every tax cut go by the waste side and let the USA Crumble under Obama’s rule! If the stupid of this country can not see the trouble we are in now and still want to blame bush, then maybe we have not hit rock bottom yet. If tax cuts for a few will save us, but tax cut for all will not? well then tax cuts for none surly will sink us? I am still not sure how Obama’s millionaire billionaire plan is a budget. But what I do know is taking money out of the hands of those who do make this country run will only mean less money for ALL! Less money for the government to give away plus less money and opportunity for the honest to earn it will mean we will be forced to do something new.

The CEO’s went to see Obama about the US Credit Rating downgrade that is coming. The Free Riders do not care if the cost to borrow money doubles.
When the govt checks bounce, then someone will care.

Gee, yet the military expenses DOUBLED in size between 2001 and 2011. PLUS, much of their expenditures were off the book during the Dubya years, PLUS the billions in now worthless equipment, PLUS the unknown costs of caring for our wounded veterans for the rest of their lives.

When are you leftists going to stop pointing this at the Republicans and understand that YOUR President has done nothing to avert disaster for four years. He is the most do nothing president since Carter.
