The Republican Titanic couldn’t be turned on a dime. Thankfully 50% get it.

Hey, McCoy, you forgot the “cooperative” Republican house.

Obama has been president for the last four years, so he is not inheriting anything, it’s a continuation of his office.

Yes, he did inherit shrubster & cheney’s mess. With no help from the r/w, he’s done an admirable job turning things around for the better.
    -
I’m happy he WON the election.
    --
shrubster & cheney were APPOINTED by SCOTUS the first time around. They’re the ones that took a thriving American, put it into TWO UNBUDGETED WARS. Someone has to pay the credit card bill shrubster & cheney ran up. Talk about spending. Time to end the FAILED republican policies.

Now that Willard has nothing to lose, he should reveal his hidden plans to fix the economy. I mean, he kind of owes it to the country to show everyone how to fix the economy.
    -
Unless he never had a plan in the first place.
    -
In addition, the country is really really in need of understanding how to correct the tax code and lower tax rates by closing loopholes.
    -
Unless he never had a plan in the first place.
    -
And, boy, Republicans really need to know what he was going to replace Obamacare with. Mitch McConnell, especially, believes that the American health care system is the finest in the world and needs only minor tweaking.
    -
Unless he never had a plan in the first place.
    -
And think of all the good it could do if Willard could just point out a few job creators and we could get them to work their magic.
    -
Unless they’re the equivalent of leprechauns.
    -
Willard has this one, last opportunity to actually serve his country — wouldn’t it make sense for him to finally reveal these secret plans?

The simple fact is that Glenn plays to the simple-minded on the right who know absolutely nothing about any of those issues, only what Rush tells them to believe.

People voted on a free ride over high gas prices.
People voted on a free ride rather than fixing the high debt.
People voted on a free ride over abortion.
People voted on a free ride over over energy independance.
People voted on a free ride rather than find out the truth on Bengazi.
People voted on a free ride over class warfare.
The list is endless. Enjoy your free ride while you can libs, the money will eventually run out.

Iran has been a “nuclear threat” for over a year now, with conservatives claiming that they will bomb USA any day now. Despite that fact that weapons grade plutonium would be more useful for terrorism than an actual bomb.

Bengazi is an issue……. How ?

F & Furious was 1 death, as sad as that may be it was an operation started under Bush. that had less casualties than the estimated 20k deaths per year from blacklung due to coal plants which neither candidate was prepared to do. Mitt however would make it worse by needlessly deregulating it

The USA has some of the lowest gas costs outside of Venezuela

Debt has been self perpetuating ( firth largest expense is now dealing with interest ), short of gutting every social program including medicare taxes need to be raised beyond 14% of gdp, Heck if the tax rate was the normal 22% of gdp you would not have an issue with debt

Economy is an issue, with already cut low tax rates the returns are so diminished that cutting taxes will not help, wage cuts will kill demand and once again trigger waves of layoffs. Best choice would be to raise taxes while remaining competitive, there is no need to try to compete with the caymens. Keep welfare at present rate, cut funding for richer schools and give to poorer schools ( if you cant afford a textbook you have a problem) Leave remainder to economy which should inevitably develop growth based on economic cycles.

Well stated. I will hold my breath. I suspect we’ll hear Mitt’s ideas once OJ captures the real killers.

Netanyahu, and our right winers, have been insisting Iran is three hours away from a nuclear weapon since 1992! Of course that a civilian energy program also requires, gee, a functioning reactor, and fuel, is just that, a civil program so they can generate electricity, and sell us their OIL! Which is exactly what they’ve been saying for a long time. Yes, Iran is a totalitarian theocracy, just like evangelicals want in this country, or that “nobel democracy”, Israel, effectively functions as.

So i guess the right half was made after he knew who won. Otherwise the “enheriting” bit makes little sense.
