Was that picture taken in Switzerland, or the Cayman Islands?

Bad move on Reid’s part, but the fact remains that Romney has something to hide. He admitted as much by stating himself that the opposition would be able to use the tax returns to attack him…

All Romney has to do to prove Reid wrong is to release his returns. Instead he demands to know where Reid got his information so he can plug the leak. All Republicans know leaks are bad, unless they come from the Republicans.

Walrus, you actually have this backwards. The logical and legal expectation is that in order to prove Reid right is for Harry Reid to present evidence that supports his allegations. Innocent until proven guilty, right? So far, no proof exists.

Either Harry Reid is only using superlative to get Romney to release his tax returns by putting the idea in the heads of the voters that Romney is a tax cheat, or he’s a complete idiot. Since he is a member of Congress, I cannot rule out either scenario at this point…

Aw, com’on! The photo is of the guy who PREPARED Mitt’s tax returns, and it explains why he doesn’t have a clue how much he paid!

“…, there are always stories running around about how many millionaires didn’t pay a penny in income tax…” There is a place to go to get the facts. has 2009 statistics on how many people were at each income level. There is a special section at the bottom for counts on people that paid ZERO Income tax.
I counted 17 million at the $100K plus level that pay NO taxes.

Dems must be proud to have that idiot as their leader in congress. I thought Pelosi was bad. Also, its sad that some idiots out there will use this as their reason to continue 4 more years of misery.

Strictly supposition. You’re forgetting that anything can be used to attack a politician.

You mean like the Republicans have presented evidence that Obama was not born in the US or has fishy school records or is really a muslim? Evidence like that??

The Dem’s problem is that they don’t realize that most people care more about what Obama does with OUR money than what Romney does with HIS money..

@MadMonk: absolutely correct. Harry Reid’s McCarthyite behavior is directed by a president who is desperately trying to distract voters from his horrible performance on the economy.

If Romney paid $0 in taxes (which he’s denied) it would be because of the tax laws created in Washington. The IRS has reviewed his returns and found everything to be legal already. Therefore, the only thing that could be “attacked” in Romney’s returns is his wealth, or people’s misunderstandings about tax policies. Meanwhile, neither Harry Reid nor Nancy Pelosi will show THEIR tax forms. This is all a pointless distraction from the massive failures of the Obama administration.

More people have seen bigfoot than have seen Mittens’ tax returns. Notice who’s not rushing to Romney’s defense? One of the guys whose seen them (McCain).
