If analysis from the NCAR is correct, most of the U.S. will look like that within 50 years.

Of course, one hot spell doesn’t prove anything — that’s weather, not climate. Now if we had experienced globally a whole series of hot spells for some years, and also if there were some physical explanation for these hot spells that linked them to human activity, well, then maybe, just maybe, almost everyone competent to study the situation might come to a conclusion.

I looked at your citation, but it is filled with lies and fallacies, written by someone associated with the coal industry, whose scientific qualifications are unkown.

Why don’t you read this…The Scientific Guide to Global Warming Skepticism, instead.

Studying geology and meteorology was very illuminating. We are so short term in our thinking! Cycles of weather can continue for hundreds of years before changing and man was not a contributing factor. I have no doubt the pollution and contaminants we are dumping are causing problems, especially with developing countries like China. I still don’t see the furor over global warming when you put the weather in decades or centuries of patterns…

Give one example, if you really read it.

Don’t you think the vast preponderance of scientists have thought of that? I assure you, that is an old and inaccurate rationalization. All the predictions and observations have already factored in the big picture, long range cycles.

Temps are starting to rise here in Florida too, but that’s normal for Summer.
At least y’all know what it’s like for us down here in Florida in August after a hurricane hits us…..
