Just think of the intellect required to “conquer” our perception of physics, and get here. Then there’s the fact they’d be around a billion or so years more advanced. If they show up, we’re soooooooo screwed! (Although I’m inclined to believe they’d be more benevolent, to save our planet, humans might still be well, screwed.)

“Something Wicked This Way Comes” remains my favorite Bradbury novel. I think it’s time to take it off the shelf again.
