“Marching with”? By your definition, if I appear on TV behind the bench at a basketball game, the coach is collaborating with me. Look up “photobomb”. The people in the photo did their best to associate themselves with the President, but the President did not associate himself with them.
Also look up “equivocate”. A tiny hate group is not the same thing as a dictator who murdered millions of people.
@Ian Rey. First off, thank you for mentioning the photos. I thought the toon was about President Obama getting his justice department to drop the voter intimation case against the Black Panthers. I didn’t realize he was actually photographed marching with them! Unbelievable. By the way, your argument that he wasn’t really associating with them doesn’t hold water when up on further research (again, thanks for turning me onto this latest scandal for this administration), he actually shared the podium (i.e. gave a talk after the black panther) with them. And he also had the leader of the Black Panters (Malik Shabazz) at the white house.
What is it about fundamentally changing the US you do not understand? This man s dead set on tearing down this country so it can be rebuilt. Do you really want the US to be completely destroyed? THINK. WHY do people want to immigrate to this country? Is it so they can change it into what they left behind? NO. It is the best place to have a chance to become wealthy or famous or both. You can do anything (within the law which is not all that restrictive) you want, be anyone you want to be. Try that in Iran.

Frankly, I think this Hitler comparison has gotten more attention that it deserves. People get on TV, they want people to like them and agree with their opinions, so the resort to hype because well reasoned arguments don’t make entertaining sound bites. What caught my attention is the rest of Hank II’s remarks—that Boehner and Obama shouldn’t socialize because the they are diametrically opposed politically.
Hence, liberal and conservatives shouldn’t even try to come to consensus.
