Since when does Planned Parenthood care about parental consent for ANYTHING?

  2. dtroutma

If she’d just held an aspirin between her knees, she wouldn’t be prego?

Planned Parenthood, and family planning, is a lot more than abortion taken as final option; but condoms, care, current options, and common sense are also banned by the very folks who condemn abortion. THAT is the biggest part of the problem.

We had a daughter, son, and vasectomy- all planned, and all a sign of both love, and intelligence.

Condoms are readily available at Wal-Mart and all gas stations.

If someone wanted to utilized them they are available.

Their whole raison d’etre is to help those who do not consent to be parents…

ANimbecile said: “Just make children wards of the state. That’s the liberal template.”

Did you forget your teleprompter? You’re straying off-message. The liberal template is to encourage teen pregnancy so Obama can satisfy his lust to kill babies.

  6. Ken Warren

Ken Warren said, 14 days ago

Conservatives care about children until they’re born, then they are on their own.

Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot Conservatives don’t want childrens minds warped by any talk or information on SEX, inculding discussion on what sex is, what is happening when they go through puberty, and how to prevent pregnancy.

It is a myth that there is a home for every baby born to an unwed mother. The truth unless someone in the girls family takes the baby and raises it, many children will spend their lives in foster homes, or orphanages.

The thing that really frosts me about this ‘toon is depicting an 8-month pregnant teenager as getting an abortion. This is so intellectually dishonest that it drives me round the bend.

  10. scottfreitas

No, intellectually dishonest is pretending abortion isn’t the murder of a human being. You have to ignore religion, science, “common” sense (no longer common thanks to the removal of the judeo-christian worldview from western culture), personal observation, recorded History, and a plethora of laws pertaining to people still in the womb.

That last mass-murdering abortionist who was shot—Tiller the baby killer–did nothing BUT late-term abortions. More than 5,000 of them during his lifetime. Around 72% of those were for women more than 7 months pregant, with the remainder being for woman at least 6 months pregant.

You Leftists can keep paroting Satan’s lies all you want. In the end, you will reap what you have sown.

  11. ben_david

    ben_david said, 13 days ago

I never have understood why liberals are okay with late- (and even post- ) term abortions of innocents, but they want to let murderers live out their lives in moderate comfort, watching cable TV and getting better food than millions of homeless.

  12. tjdestry

    tjdestryGenius_badge said, 13 days ago

The other lie is getting an abortion without parental consent or the permission of a judge. That last part is conveniently left out by wackos who feel pregnancy is God’s punishment for sin.

  13. fritzoid

    fritzoid said, 13 days ago

Partial-birth and late-term abortions are radical measures used in radical cases. When they are performed, it’s because there’s serious risk to the life of the mother.

When Roe vs Wade was passed, it said that on-demand abortions in the first and second trimester cannot be prohibited, and third-term abortions cannot be outlawed but they can be regulated.

No sane person says “Well, let’s put off the abortion until as late as possible.” The earlier it’s done, the less invasive the procedure and the less risk of complications.

And again, the procedure doesn’t result in the death of a human being. The only human beings in the room are the doctors/attendants and the pregnant woman.

Fritzoid bald-faced lied. Even a few of the stories in the mainstream media about George Tiller, that late-term abortionist who was killed, pointed out that what made Tiller such a target of pro-lifers for so many years was the fact he did late-term abortions on perfectly healthy women. They were abortions of CONVENIENCE, same as almost 100% of all other abortions.

And denying the humanity of an unborn child–especially a fully-developed one who has to be forcibly held inside the birth control in order to be killed–goes beyond beyond intellectually dishonest straight into the realm of the sociopath. :/

If anyone here wants to have a sane discussion (anyone?) I suggest you watch the episode “fetal position” of the House, MD tv series. It is both emotional (almost like the righties want it) and based on medical factshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FetalPosition(House)

One more thing, no woman shoves wires in her genitals out of convenience.

  19. scottfreitas

    scottfreitasGenius_badge said, 12 days ago

Any woman who does such a thing has allowed her own selfishness to so consume her that she has become a monster. I always wonder why Leftists use the coat-hanger story to try and drum up SYMPATHY? Being with child isn’t a disease, or a curse, or some dread malady. The idea that producing a being created in God’s image is so horrid that one must shove pieces of metal inside one’s body to try and destroy it… uh, no. I don’t get it, corosive. A sane, compassionate response would be to reason with the woman, make her understand that the person inside of her is not going to “destroy her life” unless she is living a life so ugly that it NEEDs to be destroyed, in order that a better, less self-obsessed life can replace it.

That’s the problem with trying to reason with women in a feminist culture. Feminism is more than anything a religion of SELF; a religion where the entire universe must be made subservient to your every whim, lest you be forced to think of the needs of others. It is a religion where Self is elevated to Godhood, and men are relegated to being at best uneasy competitors in a 60/40 female-dominated relationship, or at worst the hated enemy who must be politically subjugated…

  20. Corosive Frog

Corosive Frog said, 12 days ago

No woman wants to spend her life being spit on by people like you either. To conservatives, they are either murderers or sluts depending on the state (smart ones realize that no matter what they do, people like scott would still look down on them, so why should they make the effort?). Can’t blame them for taking the easy way out.

If God wanted procreation to be a man’s responsability, he would have made men pregnant.

  22. Ken Warren

Ken Warren said, 12 days ago

As I said before, when God wanted a son he had to find a woman.

If it were men who got pregant abortion would second item in the Bill of Rights.

The real reason for all the fuss about abortion is that the self righteous Religious Right wants people punished for the sin of having sex outside of marriage. Of course it takes two, and the only people who suffer are the girls, which according to the most religions is how God wants it.

If we limited this discussion to men who were 1) virgins at the time of marriage, 2) have never cheated on their wife, 3) never left the first wife for a second one, 4) never molested, assaulted, or verbally abused a woman, 5) does not read Playboy et al or look at porn, 6) uses abstinence or condoms himself , and 7) is delighted with each new child (planned and unplanned) and is devoted to each and all and willingly helps in their rearing instead of watching sports on TV.

    and

women who, 1) were virgins at the time of marriage, 2) have never cheated on their husband, 3) never left the first husband for a second one, 4) never ridiculed, assaulted, or verbally abused a man, 5) does not read Cosmo et al or look at “Soaps” Sex and the City 6) uses abstinence or birth control responsibly, and 7) is delighted with each and every new child (planned and unplanned) and stays home to raise it/them.

    we might get somewhere.
