    How is he dead wrong, dtroutma? Some of Obama’s guys took aim at Fox News. The other networks, many democrats and a lot of people in general aren’t happy about it. FNC’s ratings are up That’s kind of the definition of something backfiring.

    The reality is more like the situation when Obama swatted that fly. I’m sure it was traumatic for the fly, and all the pests related to the fly were up in arms, but I doubt the President thought much about it for more than a few minutes.

I think a reasoned person could surmise that President Obama’s refusal to be on any of the Fox network interviews/discussions/whatever you choose to call them, juxtapositioned against Foxe’s considerable (and growing I might add) market share would lend to Mr McCoy being on the money….

    1. Reading or listening to divergent views is the only way to know what the whole “picture” is.


    2. Nixon and Cheney actively went after enemies with an intent to destroy them. Merely choosing to ignore a pest up to the point it requires at least pointing out that it IS a pest, is not the same thing.


    3. A lot of folks are turning to Faux, just to see how absurd they really are, because frankly, much of their stuff is really “over the top”. That is why I’ve read most of O’Reilly’s books. It helps to know what they ACTUALLY SAY, rather than get it second hand and “interpreted” for the masses, which is exactly what Fox does.


    As to “Elmer Fudd”, if anyone can listen to Joe Lieberman for five minutes, and not draw the comparison??? Okay, so he was a DINO, now “independent”.
