    @Norman, Well, if he’s catholic, he should have confessed his sins and that is supposed to count for something. Supposedly God will be making his decisions independent of what we may think.
    In the meantime, we get to make our own judgements, for whatever they are worth. Since I am atheist, I’d say your opinion means as much as the cartoonists, whoever they may be…

    So all aborted fetuses are martyrs and get a free pass to heaven? Then what’s the problem?

    Once you’re born, most people who calculate these things say there’s only a 10-30% chance you’ll be saved, but if you’re aborted you’re a shoo-in! You’d think the Churches would be SUPPORTING this!

    Are those the pearly gates of heaven or purgatory? How can you tell? I’m not Roman Catholic.

    Or maybe they’re floating on the smoke byproduct of fire and brimstone and wearing asbestos suits and ties.

    A not-very-nice touch would have been to put Marilyn between Bobby and Jack rather than the football. That would put a nice twist on Ted’s grin.
