I have to say, I’m disappointed that we’re still there (IRAQ), and some say because he raised taxes on cigarettes, he’s broke his promise. It’s all pretty weak. Kid’s having health care is worth the price, we know everything go’s up anyway.
He could have let us see the pictures, and all bush’s incriminating memo’s and paper’s
    Earmarks is what congress does..

Of course ANandy and McCoy are going to use the non-insult of teleprompter using, and then fail to mention that every president since at least Reagun has used them extensively.

Tele-prompter, note cards, speech outline or laptop, what “idiot”, Nandy, would try and give a decent presentation, be it annual business report, medical seminar… ect, with out them

How about we take the power away from the Prez and the IRS. FAIR TAX!
Why oh why do we let the Government dictate how much money they will let us keep from our hard work.
But no we are at the mercy of two faced politicization and the IRS.

Maybe Nandy’s posts would make more sense if *he* had a teleprompter.

The truth is the ‘boobus Americanus’ has always believed that it throws out “bad” politicians and elects “good” ones.Of course this is pure fairy tale. Men like Obama are called “good” politicians by the serfs because they promise to lift up the dreary slave-morality existence of the hard working masses of docile, obedient, scared of their own government Americans. Nothing is ever done. In reality every politician is rabidly devoted to increasing only his personal power and wealth in direct proportion to his utter lack of concern for the boobs who elected him.It makes no difference who is in office in freedom’s land. After almost 250 years are there even a handful of members of Congress who have ever wasted a minute working for anyone but himself or any interest not his own? Not a chance. On and on march the well-behaved, closely monitored knee benders, the herd, the patriotic and religious zombies…toward oblivion. The wreck is coming. It’s in sight, dead ahead and closing fast.

I keep a personal list of campaign promises that Obama made and then broke. Just one more example:

    McCoy forgot “Presidential Signing Statements”

“Democrats often criticized the Bush White House for its use of the presidential signing statement, a means by which the president can reject provisions of a bill he deems unconstitutional without vetoing the entire legislation. Now the approach is back.

President Barack Obama, after signing into law a $410 billion budget bill on Wednesday, declared five provisions in the bill to be unconstitutional and non-binding, including one that would effectively restrict U.S. troop deployments under U.N. command and another aimed at preventing punishment of whistleblowers.”

Harvin Gwin, I don’t agree completely with you when you assert the all politicians are only out for numero uno.

I strongly believe that FDR was out for the good of all Americans. And, he was effective. The problem is ever since the Raygun Republicans have been working extra hard to undo all of the good things FDR brought about so that they can take the money from Americans that are merely rich, the middle class and the poor.

So far, the bushy thing and crew that left office in January have really been the most successful and effective removing money from the average Americans’ wallet and transferring it to their own.

We truly do have enough wealth in the country to serve the needs of all Americans. Why are we wasting it in Iraq?

I can’t understand why THE SAME individuals, that obviously dislike Mr. McCoy, CONTINUE to visit this this website and and make disparaging remarks. Mr. McCoy is controlling your life here……………..and that’s the job of a political cartoonist. Naturally, he’s well liked by conservatives, but when he can lure a horde of liberals into making comments, he’s doing his job, and quite well I might add.

Remaining ignorant of the opposition has never been a winning strategy, Burenar.

    Why do you advise it?

BTW, don’t you ever get tired of occasionally commenting on only McCoy cartoons, and then only saying the same thing each time? Perhaps you don’t realize that your profile reveals your fascination in constant repetition of the same idea, and running away with your tail between your legs whenever anyone calls you on it?

McCoy lives for sheep like you.

Now I wouldn’t say the Republicans have been nearly as effective as the Democrats about removing money from peoples pockets.. The difference is the Republicans make you earn it or take it in some cases while the Dems take out of the middle mans pocket to toss it into the lazy mans pocket for a few extra votes.. It just depends if youn are looking for a quick shell game for cash or a long term plan.. Though unfortunately in the current and last 3 administrations theres been nothing but a shell game option from both parties..

Anthony 2816, my outlook on politics is very liberal; however, I love to see people get riled up from both sides……people like you. I’m sure Mr. McCoy’s not losing any sleep over your comments anymore than Tom Toles is losing sleep over what the Rush Limbaughites will say about his cartoon. In the long run, nobody really gives a sh.. as long as they’re drawing a paycheck and can watch their 52-inch flat screen TV while drinking a cold beer. Sad, but true.
