Uhhh, Humphy - you may not know this but only about 12% of the “stimulus package” is set to stimulate the economy. How about - since it is such a big EMERGENCY - we trim 88% of the package and save the rest of the red ink for later?
the reps want more tax cuts for business and corporate America … they guarantee it will stimulate the economy … let’s see, didn’t we just try that TWICE under W. …. and where did that get us? next, they’ll be calling for more deregulation, getting rid of all those pesky old tiresome regulations intended to protect those without power from those with power and influence …..
is there a new national medical malady going on? … “Short Term Memory Deficit Syndrome”
If the repubs get the tax cut for business then how are they going to sell any thing without customers. I thought a person had to have money to become a customer and money is earned with a job. Or, has something been changed in the past few weeks?
Maybe Glenn thinks we should just give the 800 billion to the top ten wealthiest people in the country. That way the money will trickle down, restoring the economy.

puppy do you really think what is proposed will end up as it started ? The figures I’ve been hearing vary quite a bit, depending upon who’s quoting.
