    Shot? No. Beaten? Tortured? Yes. Looks like Iraq is truly learning from the example America has set for them. Our President could be magnanimous about it, and ask Iraq to release the man, but then he wouldn’t be W.

    Why would Saddam care if someone threw a shoe at Bush? This doesn’t make any sense at all.

    Or is Glenn comparing Bush to Saddam? Because that I can see, what with Bush being the de facto ruler of Iraq and responsible for killing thousands of innocent Iraqis.
