Thank goodness the media won’t be entertaining anymore paranoid delusions of McCain and Palin. What do you think, Stewie?

The media is also ignoring the Keating Scandal – or the fact that the only reason McCain got off was that he was being investigated by the Senate Ethics Committee and he’d done most of his slimy under-the-counter work when he was still in the House. But the media keeps insisting that the relevant thing is to look at current issues – not whether someone ditched his wife for a rich hottie or crashed a trainer when he was learning to fly and blamed it on mechanical failure or … I’m sorry, who was the media shielding???

Actually the media HAS brought it up. Investigation yields the news that the Ayers-Obama connection is so trivial that it is not even remotely relevant to this campaign. The headline sounds bad. The details simply indicate that the McBush campaign is aimed at people who do not want to look past the headlines.

On what planet has the media not covered Ayers? Palin herself said she read about the association in the New York Times. If the press was truly in the tank for Obama, we would all know the name Joe Vogler, but that’s a story which has TRULY never been covered in the corporate media. Hint: he’s vastly more closely tied to a candidate than Ayers is to Obama, and his words are much more anti-American than Rev. Wright’s.

The difference is that the media forgives Obama for anything he has done wrong or any negative association but continually harps on anything negative about the republicians.

So working on an educational foundation with a guy that did something wrong and got off because he was rich means that Obama and Ayers are interchangeable?

The media knows it’s smoke but no fire.

What nerve do they have to put in the same line a fabricated farfetched connection between Obama and Ayers (converting it from working in the same foundation to a Terrorist association) AND congressional hearings charges against MudCain for his allegiance with Keating (BTW, niether MudCain nor his wife returned a penny from the hundred of thousands dollars received from the crook)

A quote from the DEMOCRAT commitee that investigated McCain during the Keating 5 scandal:

“actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him….Senator McCain has violated no law of the United States or specific Rule of the United States Senate.”

That blows your whole litte Keating 5 garbage out of the water.

    Well, no.

It still has more relevance than the McCain campaign’s attempt to smear Obama with alleged terrorist associations, since McCain did let his name be used, while Obama merely sat on the same committee with Ayers.

They have brung it up, and ran it thru the mud, and finally dropped it when it was evident that there was nothing to it. Only bringing it up now cuz they don’t have anything left. What a pitiful campaign run by mccain. If i was a republican i would be furious with the ticket.
