    Yes, Gil is one of the Pod People, and the alien ship is monitoring his progress as he selects the unsuspecting children for removal to the Planet Gni’zz.

    Bob Kaz is coaching against the rules, by using the Forbes brothers as cover.
    Who will break the story: Marjie or Marty?

    Nice product placement (laptop) in P3.

    Whigham must be getting a kickback.

    That’s not the Cubs logo, he stole that mug from The Copyright Cafe.

    @Mr Reality

    Jarrod’s Grandfather happened to be Douglas C. Niedermeyer, Faber College Class of ’63, killed by his own troops in Vietnam, 1969.

    DOH! But of course, for some reason I was assuming they were in a hotel room.

    Oooh. Looks like the scouts are in Central City. They might be in Milford if the Mudlarks had managed a winning season since the ’70s…

    In the old days, didn’t Gil always break the 4th wall on holidays and wish a “Happy (fill in the blank) Day” to all the readers? I miss that.

    On that note, here’s wishing a safe and relaxing Independence Day to all of you who make this strip much more entertaining than it actually is.

    Hmmm, I’m not quite sure about that young golfer in P1. Is she holding the end with the rubber on it?

    And the guy in P3, I think he just finished the part in “I’m a Little Teapot” where he’s ready to tip over and pour out.
