    How is Milford lucky? The runner was still safe.

    What kind of creature is that in P2 on the left?

    If Lucky’s throw had been a bit farther off, it would have gone into the stands.

    Meanwhile, on another field, the girls team is battling for a playdown berth, but that is a far less interesting story than the one about assuaging Lucky’s bruised psyche.

    In all reality, Milfords last at bat , a routine fly ball dropped, Lucky hits a walk off homer to win the game and proclaims to his teamates they were lucky to have him as a teamate. A hot soapy team shower ends the season. Unfortunately for Lucky, Mr Reality while driving swerves to avoid a black cat and hits Lucky breaking his legs. Summer begins.

    Shouldn’t Gil be at mound asking about everyone? Gil? Coach?

    Wildcat enjoys his bourbon high a top his 3rd floor penthouse suite beyond right field at Maris Industries, wondering WTH he’ll do this summer now the school year is about to end. Gil and Steve Boone to MCC, Kaz biking with Kelly across the U.S.A., Marty to Milford Downs and Mimi lushing out at the pool. New characters starting late this week.

    The gunman from the Grassy Knoll is clearly visible in P1. Or is it an alien?

    “We sure are lucky I bobbled that ball or Paul would have had another no-hitter and become a legend.” Nice of the catcher to care about the pitcher who just got screwed a second time.

    Here’s today’s MUT, only a few more days of Lucky we hope!

    Stock tip of the day: buy 1000 shares of Milford Wristbands, Inc.

    Got to love the wristbands. As far as I know, the only two places you still see wristbands like that are this strip, and the old 1980’s music videos on VH1.

    No fly ball is routine when you are wearing those Wonder Woman bracelets.

    That’s the catcher wearing his “Tools of Ignorance”.

    @softball coach

    I was going to say that Rubin and Whigham’s Tools of Ignorance are their pens, but then I thought better of it.
