“We only scored three points so let’s focus on the defence”.

Why is Marty always alone in the booth, home or away? Is Milford the only team in the Valley that has its games on the radio? Even though Paul Strange is long gone, it seems like someone should be around somewhere. Marty’s lonelier than the Maytag repairman.

I assume The Mute is going to honor Deacon Jones and bring back the headslap, become a defensive terror and the ‘Larks march to victory. Mimi didn’t tell Gil the newspaper article’s date would have John at age 23 now. With the kids missing, she hoped they could adopt the young’un.

Try to pressure the quarterback. Wow, what a radical concept, too bad nobody thought of that before the game started.

Goshen sure looks like a lonely place to play football. No fans at all at some of the games.

You can’t blame him, considering his life of solitude.

Bourbon is Moon’s kryptonite, numbing the pain in his fortress of solitude.

P1, Moon, sporting his vintage 1973 Florsheim demi-boots, cuts an impressive sartorial figure indeed!
