C’mon, Gil, you know that Pascoe is Mary Walther’s sister’s married name. What else to you need to know? Also, Brekke is a village in Norway and there’s a USC sociology professor named John Brekke. With all these clues, the kid’s silence should be easy to figure out.

I like the idea of a cheerleader with a good vocabulary, although I’ll admit it doesn’t scan very well.

Clues all over the place eh? OK… I’ll go with Mrs. Peacock… in the locker room… with a vial of Chinese bird flu virus.

what I get out of it is that John is the love child of Marys’ sister and her husband, Mark Walters. Her sister “went to Hong Kong” which is probably code for “she went to live where the Thorp kids live” . The kid witnessed the murder and was told the same would happen to him if he ever said anything— a threat he took literally.

Last year, Chip and Cyndy played minor roles and Terry (The Knght) Gallagher a starring role. It would be nice to include their input on BBJ. Speaking of minor roles, where is Marjie Ducey…holed up typing away on her next insignificant story? A little bit of Mimi is better than a whole lot of anything else.

Ok, Pescoe uses only sign language because of his Cherokee heritage His mother is Caucasian but he was fathered in a Jeep.

What kind of cheers do they have at Milford?

“We put the plural in finessesses. Prey on their fundamental weaknesses.”

Yet another activity at Milford I don’t see going to national competitions.

I’m no Skylock Hommes, but I deduce that John couldn’t get a word in edgewise in China.
