“I’m unappreciated, but I make everything better.” Gentlemen, an appropriate tribute to all of the smart alecks who have ever commented on the Gil Thorp strip. Take a bow.

Looks like my comment yesterday was way off base. Knox really IS intensely unpopular.

Have they outlawed backpacks at Milford High?

That “newfangled invention” hasn’t reached Milford yet.

Anyone else wonder who they guy talking in panel one. From the angle/viewpoint in panel two it looks like it would be Dinny but Dinny in panel two has black hair that has long curls in the bangs and sideburns. In panel one this person has light hair that is close cut. This inconsistent art work is one of the frustrating things in this comic strip (besides too many characters, many of which are never developed to allow us to know them).

P2 – I already want to choke him.
P3 – Some of my best work ever. And nobody has ever slipped on it either.

I mentioned yesterday it would be interesting to see th chemistry between Perez and Foley. Hard Knox is like a horse barn, full of it. Happy Easter Thor Pacholics.

Three students out of the entire student body carrying books in their arms, and you think they outlawed backpacks? You are pathetic.

God help you if that’s how you look at a comic strip. The guy standing up asking the question in P1 is not Dinny, neither is the one answering that question. Dinny is the one seated to the right of Mr. Towel-wearing question-answerer.

And before anyone questions my sense of direction, I’m referring to the towel-wearer’s right, not the reader’s.

A juvenile comment, I must admit, but I wonder if Knox has ever made it to second base.

Why are there thoughts of Danny Noonan and ‘Caddyshack’ running through my head. Now if only Lacy Underalls would make a guest appearance . . .

And nice work it is. Now, coach Thorp wants you to get those bases nice and shiny for the next scene on the diamond.
