    Suddenly, I . . .

    . . . I miss the peacock.

    There. I’ve said it.

Quit playing fast pitch softball 10 years ago. It took me forever to convince the coach to let me lead off, as well, instead of third or fourth. That gave me more opportunities to steal, too :) I ended up averaging a steal a game and scoring at least once per game so it paid off.

Knox seems like an interesting combination of self-absorbed dunce and brainy, precocious legal version of Doogie Howser.

I wonder if Papa Foley has Hard Knox chasing ambulances on his mophed?

Alas, no one will deck this kid. Maybe an opposing pitcher will go for the bean ball.

I think the writers are now punishing us for our past ridicule.

I hope I’m not jumping ahead of things here, but if Aames is the guy who fell on the ice, is that really the kind of thing you would need a lot of precedent research for?

Now there’s a novel thought – a (future) lawyer interested in becoming adept at stealing. I’ll bet that’s never happened before

Perhaps he can sue to go to the head of the lineup?

Let’s see, precedent law for slipping and falling on ice….negligence, criminal negligence, negligence with intent to injure…or good old AOG.

Sometimes you just don’t appreciate what you’ve got til it’s gone.
