And with Cyndy Canty covered, Mia shoots! But the ball hits a peacock that has flown into the gym! The bird falls to the court! Milford loses, and the peacock dies!

She scores! She gives credit to a mysterious black bird perched in the gym’s rafters. She says it looks like her long dead uncle Ramus!

Oh great after reading the strip I really thought there would not be any peacock references today.

Even the bleachers shine at Central, Steve you’ve got some work to do back at Milford.

Mia scores and jumps on the peacock band wagon with Scott.

Sort of looks like they’re diving on the stone in a curling match

Where is Boo? Great Scott is only half the fictional character that Sally Brown’s “Sweet Baboo”, Linus Van Pelt is. Linus can do some awesome tricks with that blanket and is a loyal believer in The Great Pumpkin.

The peacock survies until baseball season until it is killed by Randy Johnson during a pitching lesson

Wow, it is a battle at Central. They only have like one ball in the whole gym and the ladies have to fight over it to do warmups.

Is Cindy the only one that can shoot? Mia is a last resort? I guess Mia will miss because she has not seen the peacock yet. After this heartbreaker she will see the mystical bird and turn into an all star.
