    Has anyone ever MADE a 3? Why are they always drained? Same thing with long putts, I guess.

    What’s with the fans in the first panel? They’re all looking everywhere but the basketball court. My guess is that the peacock has just strolled into the gym.

    So let’s get this straight, Scott is depressed about his kid brother passing away, but now Scott is ok since he spotted a peacock in his yard. He really does need some Thor p counseling.

    @dutchpuppy2

    For high school that’s not totally unusual, especially if not everyone has a peacock to help them (should we change to Milford Peacocks instead of Mudlarks???). Speaking of which, does this storyline now rank as the most bizarre in Gil Thorp history? If not, what makes the top 5 list of bizarre Thorp storylines?

    Just wondering, if Marty spots a peacock will he start drinking or stop drinking?

    Let me get this straight—Milford is losing by 7, then peacock boy scores 5 points, and they’re down by 10 at the half. Who is the official scorer?

    Marty’s lonely and tired of working alone in the booth.

    Milford did roar back, but Moon is drunkenly conflating the score of this game with the halftime score of the Packers-Vikings playoff.

    @ldmcdog

    Yeah. We must have missed some scoring in that “roaring back” period. Milford must be ahead by 10. To go from 7 down to 10 down is not much of a “roar”, is it?
