    What DOES a red jersey mean? That he’s the player that’s going to get killed in the first five minutes of the game?

    If your team color is red it don’t mean much and especially if you are color blind and wasn’t told why you are not to tackle the opposite of the team colors.

    A red jersey means that the player is either injured, recovering from injury or is otherwise under 100%. The jersey is a caution to teammates in practice either to lay off hard contact or to avoid contact altogether.

    You forgot that key players also wear red such as QBs, indicated by the 13 on the “body’s” chest.

    Quarterbacks always wear red in practice so their team mates don’t hit them.

    Ge, I must be color blind because all I see is a white jersey with black numbers. I wish this strip would be in color.

    The red shirt, according to Star Trek legend, is the first to be killed. Maybe Terry is just trying to keep consistent with his classic 60’s TV.

    BTW, I resent the comment that only Luhm is working in the school. I ran to the locker room yesterday and got Terrry football pants to replace his bike shorts (thanks for the suggestion)… and I am sure I did something else.

    Uncle Kaz is right. The guy in the red jersey on Star Trek usually didn’t come back after the first commercial break. On another topic, though, while the kids might not be ready for that first football game, Steve has got the floors in post-season form with that high gloss finish.
