    Glad that second panel doesn’t say SKANK! considering that Molly is in the next one.

    I’m sure Molly understands. She’s mis-hit a few in her day.

    Will Molly show him how washing his balls can improve his game?

    I agree on the Lefty part. Makes much more sense, but then I do golf lefty and can’t even swing righty with TWO good arms.

    Hey, don’t kid yourself about Captain Kangaroo. Lee Marvin once said the toughest guy he ever met was his sergeant during WW II and that was Bob Keeshan.

    @leblumax

    As far as “playing lefty”, doesn’t all your power come from the trailing arm? So leading with your one arm would seem like it would make you weaker. I compare it to swinging forehand and backhand in tennis.

    Molly’s private lessons to follow, and will lead to Steve’s rebirth.

    @Buffalo02

    Must have been a different Bob Keeshan.
    (Urban Legend, actually, Lee Marvin never said that.)

    The Bob Keeshan who became Captain Kangaroo was too young to see combat during WW II.
    He enlisted in the USMC Reserve in 1945, and was still in the US when Japan surrendered.

    Gil could learn a few things from the Captain. When he did his stint as Clarabell The Clown on Howdy Doody,he didn’t talk on any show, honking a horn instead. The last show broadcast ended with the camera zooming in on a closeup of Clarabell, who had never spoken, whispering “Goodbye kids.” Fade out.Gil needs to learn to use his exploding eye and to hold up the GIL cup to make his nonverbal point. The Captain started a couple years before Gil, but they were both part of my childhood day. Now I have Gil and you clowns in the Peanut Gallery. Life is good.

    Steve’s game will improve once Molly starts holding his bag.
