Sometimes in sports you go for it. Champions go for the gusto.

Wow, the coach is being a bit overdramatic there in panel 2. And what’s with his hands, looks like a Richard Simmons type reaction.

A lesson to be learned in the next few strips. Gil hasn’t been coaching for 40 years to let something like this go without a lesson………..

Jamarr is about to learn another lesson: If the girls think you’re a dork, 98-yard punt returns won’t seal the deal.

Coach Kaz seems to have adopted the Superman haircut with the little twirl coming down below the hairline.

He also seems to be having some trouble with the Vulcan “Live long and prosper” sign in panel two.

In Jamarr’s record making 98 yard return. Panel three captured the moment where he reached light speed !!!

Coach Kaz is 90% spirit fingers and 10% pearl earings.

After this game Jamjar is going to be way to full of himself. We all know he’s going to fall hard, but when?

Jamarr, can carry this team to the championship if they would let him loose and give him lots of touches on offense.

But alas, Thorp and Kaz would rather teach the boy a lesson and forget about a championship, after all they are good ol boys.
