You can buy a fully furnished house…a NICE house….in the state I live in for only $6,500 no joke. I’ve seen others that are very nice here for under 15,000. My best friends only paid $5,000 for their house…3 bdrm 1 bath 2 story home with detached garage.

Please, no more quips about healthcare. At this point in time, I just think we should all just become Christian Scientists and hope for the best.
Also, I want to shave Marty’s face. No, I want Gil to shave Marty…..his face, I mean.

Somebody asked me if I would give any clues about what will happen in the story. Answer is, I have no idea. I had given Neal Rubin this story idea, and he liked it. But he has obviously taken it down a different path than I expected.
My story idea definitely did NOT have a happy ending. I was hoping for a story where Marty DeJong blames Gil for everything and never gets over it. Also, I wanted him to be hooked on drugs and homeless. Also, I wanted Marty Moon to use this as a way to attack Gil Thorp and ask that he be fired.
Neal Rubin is definitely taking this down a different path! I like this story better because I’m a sucker for happy endings and I see that Marty DeJong will probably find a useful job.

In 1959, a very nice house would have cost about 15 thousand. We bought a 4 bedroom two story house in 1964 for $18.500…………………………
