Are there archives of these comments where we can view previous days?

Is it a good plan? Anybody can make a plan. The hard thing is to make a good plan.

Reminds me of the Lone Ranger when he would say to Tonto, “Now here’s my plan……….” Then the scene would fade out……………..

@ohiobobcat If you’re going to ask questions, it’s good idea to check back later in the day to find out if someone answers them.
Like I answered your identical question yesterday.
Or a nearly identical question by SWVA Old School the day before.
To repeat:
If you’re not logged in, you can only view the current day.
If you’re logged in but a freeloader (like me), you can use the arrow buttons above the upper right corner of the strip to go back as far as a week, but no more. You can also use the calendar icon to go back up to a week.
If you register and pay (not sure how much), you can go back in the archives as far as you want. You also get a little “Genius” tag next to your screen name.

CoBass–perhaps the people to hector would be those at Tribune features who foisted this change on a segment of their patrons with no warning and no instructions. I am still awaiting an answer from them on why they would be trying to drive traffic away from their website and towards gocomics.com.
Also, if OhioBobcat or any user leaves a message and goes back the next day, he will not be able to see the respones you left him. If he doesn’t know about registering, he can’t read about registering. Your advice is well stated, but may be inaccessible.

SWVA Old School Re: Tribune. Don’t know anything about that situation - I’ve been reading Gil here for a least a couple years.
And re: ohiobobcat: That why I said the same day. If someone doesn’t know how to view previous strips and post a question on how to do that, it’s only common sense to check back a few times to see if your question has been answered, with one time being as close to the daily turn-over as possible.

Hey MarkTrail,
Cool sign-on name there Bro. The writers follow the sports seasons year after year after year. Milford hasn’t won a state title in several seasons now; I don’t know how and which writers/artists decide that – an actual roll of a pair of dice at the beginning of each season or what – but if “Gil” is such a good coach, they’re WAY overdue. Maybe football or basketball will bring a title. Gil Thorp is the only comic strip I read…

CoBass,
I didn’t ask the question, but appreciate the information.
Thanks,
Wm

Yes every time the Lone Ranger told Tonto “You go to town” Tonto would end up beaten senseless and bound up. Seems he would have figured this out after a while……………..

but remember the time they were surrounded by Indians and the Lone Ranger said, this looks like it’s it, we are surrounded. and Tonto said, what do you mean “we” kemosobee?
