    Nothing but 4% for me….And bump it up to half and half for coffee. But then I don’t eat cheese or most other dairy products. Which also means I can put real butter on my baked potato…

    @Varnes

    Where do you get 4% milk? I have only seen whole, 2%, 1%, and skim.

    I don’t mean to carp on the matter but I still don’t think that’s kosher.

    The Soy Juice is worse than the fish! Plants don’t give milk, they give juice……..

    Those who have not TRIED soy milk substitute should TRY it before condemning it. I tried it myself (I think it was called “Silk .. vanilla flavor”) and it really was good on cereal. In fact, in a survey among kids (who have no pre-conceived ideas/notions, they actually preferred the vanilla flavored soy ‘milk’ over the ‘real’ thing. The down side is that it is more expensive than real milk, but not prohibitively so. Nutritionally, its probably better, since it isn’t tainted with drugs, antibiotics and hormones injected into the blood streams of milk cows.

    If I had to live with a vegan, I’d be as crazy as Bucky.

    Although it’s ridiculously over-priced, ‘Silk’ is pretty good.
