Rob’s eyes are pointed in pretty much the same direction in frame 5 as in frame 3 (to his right). Is he looking at the refer? I’m having spatial issues here… In frame 3 Fungo is to Rob’s right between he and the Refer. Then in frame 5 Fungo is in front of Rob, and Satchel, so the door behind Satch must be in front of Rob and Fungo in frame 3. So Rob must’ve turned around 180 degrees between frame 3 and 5. I’ve got to stop reading comics this late at night… :-)
I am still watiing for the conclusion of the Rat story that has left us hanging since 3/23 myself. is Darby going through contract negotiations creating these rerun strips?
As per custom for some comic strips, Get Fuzzy often publishes older strips instead of fresh ones; in some cases, the repeat strips were placed in the middle of current storylines already in progress. Since March 2011, a week of repeat strips (currently from 2009) alternated with a week of the current story.[citation needed]
@Tacopielvr All you have to do is go to a Newpapers site and you would see that they are running the same strip. So best guess is a vacation or sickness.
I’m going to flag your comment in the hopes that someone at GoComics will comment. At worst it will be automatically deleted. I, too, would like to know what is going on. I love GF but find the repeats annoying. I tried to find out something but there has been no news story written about Darby that I could find. Maybe someone else who is more clever than me can find something.
