Isn’t the plural of ‘shrimp’ also ‘shrimp’?

TTM, my cat was considered overweight at 12 pounds. It varies by breed. That said, I never saw Bucky as fat, just potbellied.

All the comments are disabled for both of Brooke McEldowney’s strips (9 Chickweed Lane and Pibgorn) per the writer’s request; this has been the case for some time now.

Perhaps I would be more successful if I approached the problem as “portion dominance”.

Weight Watchers for cats? Wouldn’t that be the human weighing the cat?
Bucky’s idea of dominance over food would be to eat everything in sight. Wonder if Rob can get him running his legs off instead of his mouth?

My cat is at his proper weight if it’s between 14.5 and 15.5 pounds. At 18 pounds, he was distinctly overweight. Of course, he’s part Main Coon, which makes a difference. My sister’s cat is just about right at 11 pounds, but she’s a much smaller cat.

Yes, I do. I think it’s because 9CL doesn’t want ANY criticism of the topical subjects it presents.

Good one! Maybe a dog could chase him (with Rob keeping it under control of course.)! Satch is usually too forgiving to be the “chaser” in that scenario, but I’m sure there are others who would take the job.

Well, if the Buckster gets any bigger, he just might turn into a black-and-white Garfield (weight-wise, at least) …
