    To me, fully spoken prayers are about US acknowledging our needs and gratitude.

    I like to say of my career change from biomedical lab researcher to medical librarian that I realized my place in science is distribution rather than production.

    Technically, there’s a difference between PRAYERS (requests) and PRAISE (“acknowledging our needs and gratitude.”). Prayers are an impertinence: He doesn’t know what’s best for whom?
