    Guess we’re not done milking the hypnotist ploy.
    I was sure wishing that when Nina said “home,” Skeezix did nothing, leading Nina on to say “home” repeatedly, trying desperately to get Skeezix to bark or cluck!
    “home. Home. HOME!”
    “What’s the matter, Nina?”
    If Jim insists on dragging this out another week, perhaps he might oblige…

    It’s not the most ornate panel, but I especially admire the composition of panel 2.

    Too bad Nina didn’t think to use her cell phone to tape her husband’s on-stage ordeal. It would be funny to see his reaction to that.

    Well, the story is wrapping up. When Nina says, “We’re home”, it may reach its grand finale.

    @Nermal M

    I thought she said that Saturday – along with the requisite barking and clucking.
    Which is why I am somewhat surprised to see this same storyline again – today.
    Looks like Jim is really milking this one.
    Sure hope Skeezix doesn’t bark or cluck when, tomorrow or the next day, Nina says “home” again.
    We can’t let her get away with what she pulled!
    (Again, many thanks for the memories – it’s just that this hypnotist ploy has been more than cruel – Nina to Skeezix as well as Nina to Frank Nelson!)
    If only…if only: Next Nina says “home” and Skeezix does NOT respond, perhaps he’ll say, “What, you thought I was hypnotized?”
    Now, that would be funny!

    She said, “Let’s go home.” When they get home, she will say the word again, maybe within earshot of an audience of people they know.

    Of course, as long as the arc isn’t over yet there’s hope for more flashbacks.

    Nope he’ll get home and prove he was never really hypnotized.
