    Somewhere, I think we crossed the line between suspense and just plain stalling.
    Unless Guido bailed out on her, sticking them with that dog.
    And speaking of which, at least it’s been a week since we’ve seen said dog.
    Maybe stalling isn’t so bad after all.
    By the by, great Sunday panels. Now, what can be done to step up these weak-day panels…

    Must every sentence in the dialogue end in an exclamation point!? (I put one in on purpose)

    Let’s see. Since he isn’t one of the first 10 people off the plane, he must not be there.

    @Arye: it seems most comics use an exclamation point at the end of every sentence. My guess is that it’s easier for us to see than a period.

    Ending comics’ sentences with an ! is a long standing tradition. Every comic book I ever read did it that way. It’s easier to see than the .

    As I understand it a large part of the reason for using exclamation points is that periods sometimes disappeared using the printing techniques of the time (usually photo-offset printing) while exclamation points would remain visible if there was such a printing glitch.
