I love the strip, but miss Slim, Clovia and Uncle Walt, are they all gone now? This is not the same. I have left now
too. Only check in occassionally to see if they’re back. So long.

@gkid: Think of all the commenters who absolutely abhor Slim.

I don’t think this strip can get anymore stupid. Wait slim will be back and it will get worse.

Why did Becky suddenly change her mind? She seemed happy enough about it before.

I apologize in advance for posting something with no real substance, but I would appreciate any answers. While hardly an expert on the subject, I find human psychology fascinating.
Over the past few weeks, several people have posted to say that they will no longer read GA. I just don’t get this. Why don’t they simply drop the strip? Why do they think we need an announcement? Do they think someone here will beg them to stick with it?
I’ve seen this before. Many of those people making their big announcement are back posting within a couple of days. These are not people who demonstrate any real creativity on this forum, although they may be creative in other endeavors. These huge decisions to stop reading a comic strip don’t really move anything forward, do they?
Just wondering………

Becky is probably digging into the wedding cake.

Remember the old comic strip “There Ought to Be a Law?” This certainly qualifies.

Becky replies, “Neigh!!!” Nay. No.

Very annoying. My advice to them: write your own bloody comic strip!

This is certainly bringing a tear to my eye.

This is certainly the stupidest story line I’ve ever seen in GA. And yes, if Jim brings Slim back he really should lighten up on him. A character who is a bit slow can be entertaining but watching someone who is an irritating ignoramus is no fun at all.

@ MJ Emigh – Wow, got a lot of time on your hands don’t you. And here I thought those folks were just commenting, just passing their thoughts along as it were.

It reminds me of people who say, “I’m going to die, and then you’ll be sorry!”
I think they want to be told, “Don’t go! We will make it better if you stay!”
But then again, that’s just my opinion!
