All too true.
.
A really scary trend is that the party animals who’ve been partying for the last quarter century have finally noticed that they are not 20 anymore. Noooooooo, thanks… Just noticing you’ve wasted all those years, and actually changing the mindset that allowed for doing that to yourself are two very different things. The few that have gotten married so far, not surprisingly have divorced in short order.

That really is nice art work. I wish I could draw like that. Story line? – well……

All they’re after is your money. If they like you before you got rich that’s okay. They were coming out of the woodwork afterwards.

Yes, this is gorgeous penwork! I’m content to feast on the visuals as the story unfolds.

The line from “On Top of Old Smokey” comes to mind. “Not one girl in a hundred that a poor boy can trust.”

I betcha if Rufus goes to city hall, there’s a nice young lady there who’s willing to settle down.

Quit complainin’, Rufus. Lots of guys’d love to be in your predicklement. (Note my clever use of a Rufusism.)
