    One of the reaaaaly important things that they taught us in contract law was that no included provision can be against the law.

    Don’t sweat it, Rufus.
    After the taxes are depleted, you’ll probably be left with $1.50—or less!

    More likely way less (as in some NEGATIVE figures), Skeezix once had that happen to him.

    In my experience, wives have no problem spending $100,000 plus. RUN, Rufus! RUN!

    Doesn’t Rufus have something going on with the mayor from time to time?

    Is this a rerun? I remember Rufus needing a bride once before and courting the mayor.. Same theme, different time?

    Do the right thing, Rufus. Marry Miss Melba, get your money and then give it all to Joel for all the priceless knowledge he’s provided to you over the years.

    I once had an auntie who said in her will that I would get X if I was married when her will was through probate, and 5X if I was a bachelor. She had attended my wedding three years before she wrote her will.

    @Nabuquduriuzhur

    It’s against the law to be married?
