   Maybe it’s from the bear that cared for him in the woods when he was a toddler? Long-time readers might remember the storyline when Grandpa Slim took Boog for a walk in the woods and lost him. Boog was rescued by a mother bear.

    I think it’s some sort of campaign. There are two other strips that I know of using the same theme.
