This is Boog Skinner. Boog is Rover and Hoogy’s little boy, which makes him Slim’s grandson. He is eight years old, having been born in August of 2004, but the actual birthdate is unknown.

That’s amazing detail in the first panel. Gotta admire the cartoonist’s work ethic here! Seems like the trend is to Photoshop stuff into strips, which may make it easy on the cartoonist, but does nothing for the attractiveness of the strip.
