That DVD player didn’t last long in his hands.

Famous last words: I don’t need any stinking instructions. I know what I’m doing!

Since when do signal hookups, even wrong, cause a power outage?

That’s probably what happened to the first one. Hooey! What guy doesn’t know how to set up a DVD? Desktop, maybe, DVR, maybe, but DVD?

Look at the bright side, it’s probably still under warranty.

Can’t blame THIS on the dorky sales guy !
Somehow I think the warranty slipped out from under this one. That dull throbbing in Skeezix’ head is going ballistic.

The thing must have been defective to give him a shock like that. There’s no VGA output or input that would cause a shock on a normal DVD player or TV, even if you linked input to input. Looks like it had a short.

Even a “short” in ANY of the outputs would not do that, it’s all low-voltage past the power supply.

Totally unrealistic, but then, this IS a comic strip and the laws of reality do not apply. Otherwise, the Coyote would have been dead the first time he fell off of a cliff.
