You have to be old enough for the Jack Benny show to understand fully….

I remember an episode of THE GOLDEN GIRLS where Dorothy said the same thing to a high school jock.

I can’t believe it took me this long to realize that the salesman is supposed to be Frank Nelson.

A great example of why many of the big box retailers have gone the way of the eight track tape in recent years.

Jack Benny reruns are also available, along with The Goldbergs, Soupy Sales, Dinah Shore and Candid Camera on JLTV, which can be found on most cable systems.

First check the Internet for examples of the old shows from the radio days and later TV days from the 1930’s to 1950’s. This is based upon routines from that era. Thank humanity for the Internet!
