This is where he stumbles upon the scene he shouldn’t see behind the garage of the mysterious car thief come to have his revenge by stealing a 1974 Chevy Vega in for a lube job! You posters might have forgotten the mystery of the stolen cars and Slim not mailing in the insurance premium and the police catching the thief off-panel but if you click on the handy back button about fifty times you’ll get to read it all again.

So we’re back to Slim and Clovia again. The kittens may be useful to keep the mice away.

Speaking of mice, wasn’t there a comic strip arc some time back in Over the Hedge about mice inhabiting one of the character’s heads?

Rufus’s kindness has turned a heart-wrenching situation into a heart-warming sequence.

I thought Clovia threw Slim (and his insufferable relatives) out on New Year’s Eve.
Maybe Walt and Gertie would like a couple of cute kitties.

I’m enjoying this walk around Gasoline Alley. I was great to see Ms. Melba and perhaps Rufus is our guide around to meet folks we haven’t seen for a while. My concern is what we find if/when he reaches Walt’s home.
I still remember when Phyllis died.
