Brenda seems to have put on a few pounds since she walked off into the sunrise.

Mm, soon enough Walt will be checking in himself. He should save one of those nice tower rooms!

Brenda looks utterly gorgeous and stunning! Don’t try to make her anorexic, Bensondonald!
Churchy LaFemme, The Yellow Kid, Jiggs, Moon Mullins, Major Amos Hoople. How many characters can you recognize?

What a nice tribute to Brenda Starr! I hope Annie doesn’t show up there.

The Old Comics Home is most definitely my favorite storyline.

Some of the characters are too small for me to make out, but I do recognize Maud the Mule looking out the window. Is that Secret Agent X-9 inviting Brenda to the theater, while Wash Tubbs stands by his side, mouth agape? Could that be one of the Gumps shining his shoes in panel 3, or perhaps George Bungle, the Seinfeld of his time? Barney Google (“Me, too!”), the search engine founder.
Mutt and Jeff should definitely meet Rufus and Joel!
Wonderfully done!

As we hillbillies say, “Are youns goin’ to the doin’s?”.

Wait, maybe it’s Captain Easy next to Wash Tubbs– that makes more sense!

At first I thought that was Mandrake the magician asking Brenda to the theater, but then I saw that he had no moustache. Neither was there a lump on his head from his girlfriend Narda. Nor a black eye from Basil.

…Moon Mullins with the cigar…

How nice it is to see Churchy again! I imagine Gordo is up in his room trying to get into his mariachi pants - he always had a thing for redheads.

Not Maude the Mule—definitely Barney Google’s Spark Plug.

OK, maybe Maud was more pie-eyed!
