The man can draw!
If that’s it for Earl and Gertie, the story had a sad ending. I was hoping for a wedding.

Ho Hum….we’re back to the same old story lines. I was hoping Byrd would show up..and a wedding would happen. At least bring some new blood in. Its a sad ending for Gertie I guess.

I think Gertie and Earl will be back sometime in the future but for now we’re back to Slim and Clovia.

I was thinking the exact same thing.
Maybe Earl will come in looking for a job…

I was hoping for a wedding also.

I hate to leave Gertie sad and Earl who knows where. I hope the story continues again.
I don’t get the joke. People do that all the time, recommend somebody who can fix it if they can’t.

Anyone want to start a pool on how long it will take before the same folks who were complaining about the last story line start complaining about this one? After this story line more Joel and Rufus?
stringmusicianer said, 5 months ago
Channce, I’ll say give it about a week.

Can we finally hear no more endless griping about the storyline for awhile? Thanks.

Clovia is hateful and emotionally abusive. Slim has the facial features of a cartoon turtle. Therefore, it is a wash.

New story or old, Jim is a wonderful artist.

NotNormanChubsyUbsy : we put up with your constant whining and moaning and groaning about Gertie and Byrd. Now you must put up with our mourning the apparent end of what could have been a wonderful relationship.
Hopefully that arc will come back for further development/resolution. Until then, all we can do is hope Slim doesn’t order more meteors off eBay…. snicker

That hits the nail on the head! Take a bow, Mr. Scancarelli!
For those who will miss the romance, I recommend a side trip (after reading GA every day) to www.arloandjanis.com …
