Most cell phones have “manners mode” or can be set to vibrate, or turned off! Wonderful options for places like church, the movies, the library, and other places a ringing phone might be a no no. (Gotta admit though: it’s a good strip! :) )

One Friday night, a friend’s cell rang just as one of the rabbis was delivering a sermonette.
Y’know what? I liked listening to Mozart better than to my rabbi.

As the son of a veteran and the father of a veteran, I agree.
When I realized that Pearl Harbor Day today was on a Sunday, just as it was 67 years ago, it felt surreal.

As a vet at 18 yr.s of age I to know what its like to “duck bullets”. To those who came before and to those who come after I am proud to be a part of such a family. A Father ,WW 2 vet,2 older brothers Viet Nam vets, 1 dead, 1 100% disabled.
May they all be remembered with pride.
