The comments here only serve to clearly show how wide the chasm has grown. It was very obvious to me, a Conservative, that the questioning was about picking fights and embarrassing, not getting into real discussions of policy. It stands in sharp contrast to the very soft questioning in the Democrat debate. It seems that Liberals/ Democrats really do not see this, that we are living in very different perceptions of reality. Maybe instead of hurling our world views at each other, we need to try to understand and respectfully bridge the wide and growing political gap. If not, I fear it will get very, very ugly within my generation of less.
