    It really isn’t news. It is reality violence. If bleeds it leads. I am really disgusted by the reporters who stick a microphone in front of a wife, mother, brother of someone who has been violently killed and asks them how the feel about it? Reality sleaze.

    Once upon a time, there were rules like never showing dead bodies (i.e., really dead bodies, not actors pretending to be dead, of which we’ve always seen plenty, and now with very realistic gore).


    Fortunately, those silly rules are long gone. Now, if a person is declared an enemy of the US, we can show him stripped or dead or any other way that the US government wants him to be shown. Also, for friend and foe alike, we show them in any way that the networks can find sponsors to pay more for than the fines from the FCC.

    Crime going down regardelss of who carries a gun or not.
    Deregulation has produced a good economy—-for the top 10%, not for the bottom 90%.
    And good news is given.

    Ted LInd: When in Viet Nam, had a reporter ask me how I felt after scraping my friends off a crashed and burned helicopter: He woke with his jaw wired shut and some stitches, maybe understanding better how I felt??


    “Paparazzi” and dumb reporters SHOULD be treated with that same “Understanding” response…
