Why would the public worry? Isn’t it perfectly normal to run a country with a community organizer / “lazy, unqualified” visiting lecturer with the “lowest intellectual capacity in the building?”

Folks, that is the Capitol Building not the White House.

The more disturbing aspect about this ’toon is that these congresspersons, (most of them), seem not to care.about public confidence. Arrogance reigns on Capitol Hill.

As soon as it’s on the news, Obama will learn about it, just like everything else.

Gallup=“the lowest number seen since Gallup started measuring the number in 1974”….16% job approval of Congress.

Varvel’s ’toon is based on fact.
    -
I think it was La Gov. Jindal quoted recently that there is a revolution brewing In the voting public….
    -
I know that I am angry at everybody in power in D.C. and I have voted since Ike for the best candidate on the ballot, but mostly my vote was useless, my biggest “win” was voting for 2 terms of Reagan…..who had the best beliefs in how government should operate and the best beliefs in how to face down enemies like the USSR and Red China. And his election and public support for Reagan was in contrast with the “elite” of the GOP, the RINO leadership still fighting conservatives in 2014. IMO, 535 Congressional and President/VP CLAY FEET EXPOSED.

^^ If you oppose Obama these days, you’re an “Obstructionist”.
But for 8 years before him, opposing everything Bush did made you “Courageous”.
    Hmm…..

Opposing bush got you called “traitor” and now the hate won’t stop. Worse than foreign wars is domestic hate.

It’s ALL sides, sticking their tongues out at each other in perceived victory or defeat that’s worn the underpinnings of confidence down. When will all sides decide to just shut up and work together for a common good. Now – I’ve given y’all a common thing to yap at.

The ethos of Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush & Obama are much the same only Obama is to the right of all those previous presidents including his hero Ronald W. Reagan. No surprise there.
