A research ship gets trap in the ice late last year during the Antarctic summer, then we have this giant storm that blankets the country.

Plus we find out that for years the a disproportional amount of the temperature gauges, that the Weather Scientist use where placed in parking lots, to give higher temperatures and they say last year was the forth hottest on record.

It’s cold in winter, therefore there’s no global warming? /eye roll

You mean that it is not supposed to snow or be cold in New England in January? Thought it seemed a little odd.

Freaking media. Twits make it seem like it has never snowed before.

Conservatives are not noted for being scientific….about anything…They are more obedient and will spread their propaganda more faithfully than liberals.

The one thing that is true, in the ILL state congress, is that Republicans have had a history of funding science in general and Democrats have a history of funding primarily special projects.

Thank you for the first Pibb-out-of-the-nose humor of 2014. I look forward to many more.

    Ok sprocket scientist?
Lets configure a way to test the affects of direct solar impact, not temperature rise and fall but how much impacted direct sunlight penetration through the atmosphere differentiates.
The simplest way would be to measure a large heat absorbent surface like asphalt parking lots.
This simple measure is a much better gauge to determine how much direct sun radiation is penetrating our atmosphere than say atmospheric temperature readings.
Unfortunately they found simple temperature readings from conservative states areas with climate change deniers had to be discounted due to the excessive hot air absorbed by the faux noise minions in conservative areas luckily we have asphalt parking lots to give us a real gauge to measure temperature changes from.

“What has being a conservative have to do with science? Science and conservation go hand in hand!”
Now thats a conservative oxymoron for you.

Here in the Sierras on the west shore of Lake Tahoe we now have a trace of snow on the ground from the single storm which dropped 1’ back in early Dec.
Today all of our ski areas are running on man made snow, over the last 40 years I have seen our snow levels go from an average 6-10’ on the ground to 2-3’.

over 71 years, I have seen warmer and warmer winters (on average).THAT in itself tells me that SOMETHING
    is going on

What’s interesting is that this cartoon really isn’t political. And yet, right out of the gate, the commentators have made it so. That’s really sad on so many levels.

You mean like the global warming advocates in the UK that were faking the temperatures they were reporting for years?Oh you didn’t see that story?Or don’t recall?Too much weed?

What does conservatism have to do with conservation ?
    Two different things, be they…..
    Science ?
    A third different thing.
Break out and “de-dust” your thesaurus…
True, I do not side with conservatives….the extremists I adhor….

Correction: It is GOREbal Warming. That is the irrational belief that an ex-politician who failed science in college knows what the planetary atmospherics and weather will be with 100% accuracy and that those changes are due ENTIRELY to anthropogenic CO2 production.
