So far, Mr. Cruz is a proponent of will and will power, those extremes of “positive” thinking that laud bootstraps, and flog the underclasses who aren’t lifting strongly or successfully enough. Perhaps his next stage of political development will acknowledge that democracy is neither all thesis nor all antithesis. Democracy is synthesis arrived at through informed debate, a fair vote, and the acceptance of majority decisions. Will Mr. Cruz eventually come round to Lincoln and Jefferson’s point of view, even Mr. McCain’s? I’d like to think so. America needs no new Triumph of the Will.

http://cnsnews.com 9/26/13 has 2 articles showing that Senator Cruz gave 49 reasons that citizens tweeting him gave as legitimate cause to STOP OBAMACARE. The list prints 3 pages.
    -
    2nd article "Top 5 Moments from Ted Cruz’s 20 hour Senate Speech…..
1.Reads from Dr. Seuss’ “Green Eggs and Ham”
    2.Impersonates Darth Vader.
    3.Quotes “Duck Dynasty”.
4.Says he’ll speak until he can’t stand any longer..
    5.Gives a geometry lesson.
Each of these Seuss, Darth Vader, Duck Dynasty and geometry lesson, were logical and appropriate in the mountain of good reasons that Obamacare is an abomination for the USA, for the elderly, the middle class, the young and every citizen who appreciates our Bill of Rights and our Constitution and our Liberty and Freedoms.
    Amen.

    Right there with wmconelly now.
    “logical and appropriate”
Seuss wrote kids stuff, but in real life he raged against evil minorities. This does fit the subject, but the rest of the folks quoted and geometry has nothing for the American people.
I am guessing your over the top gushing praise for his subject matter is a joke.
I mean, really, your are talented enough to use a keyboard, that is enough intelligence to ensure your post was in jest.

Cruz was all about himself. As for Global Warming sorry but it continues. The hundred year old oysters show it in their growth pattern. The oceans have been and continue to heat abnormally.

True, but not the first time that Reich Wingers take an icon of the Left, and others, an pervert it to their own cause.

I know that the current “ObamaCare” is not the do all, know all…be all…..
So,Disgusted, what is your solution ??

Maybe “Dr Seuss” is the extent of Cruz’s reading , that and the Constitution and the Bible…..
    This could explain a lot…
